The city of Bangkok is really impressive, and one of the most interesting places I’ve been to. People usually say, you either love it or hate it: there is no mid term. In fact, we really loved it! Until then, was only possible see the city in movies, and now turned real.

With a population of over 6 million people, you can instantly feel the difference once you step out of the airport. A quick 30 to 40min drive will take you the city centre.

We were recommended to stay at LUXX XL Hotel Bangkok at Langsuan, just next to the American Embassy and BTS Chit Lom. You can see full report about the hotel here on this link, where we stayed for few nights on the arrival, and then few other nights on departure after visiting the islands:

There are several attractions that are a must-visit and prices are incredibly cheap ! On the street, we could eat for just 75 cents of Euro and at standard restaurants the average meal price was 5Euro per person only ! We booked most hotels on this trip at and found prices really unexpensive.
