The Temple Lodge was the first place we got when landed in Bali for the first few nights. It’s located in the south of Bali, in Bukit Peninsula, just south from the airport, approx 50min driving (20km), closeby the Balinese Village of Bingin and in front of Impossibles, close also to Bingin and Dreamlands, all surfers paradise’s, and far away from the noise and crowds of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak.
It’s a boutique resort, small and comfortable, owned and managed by an Italian familu, Cris and Mario plus their son, Ame, who usually is around the area. Friendly and helpful, he’s great to meet and chat for a while, asking for recommendations or other relevant information.
They have just few authentic and original bungalows/suites, as following, The Temple Suite, The Gecko Suite, The Coral Cave Suite, The Drift Wood Suite, The Papaya Suite, The Spice Suite, The Eagle’s Nest Suite and The Temple Lodge – Annex.
We will highlight the Coral Cave Suite, absolutely amazing, where we stayed for few nights. Completely opened, with ocean views, it’s most probable you wake up with the monkeys climbing the cliff and getting inside the resort in the early morning.
Places that can be seen around the resort:
They also provide airport transfers directly from 20EUR.
